Our desire is to partner with parents by providing a place of fun and safety where children from birth to Grade 6 can come to grow in their faith and love for Jesus through relevant and creative teaching.
The following classes meeting during our Sunday morning worship service:
Little Lambs: Birth to 2
Little Eagles: 2 and 3-year-olds
Little Lions: 4-year-olds
Soul Tribe: Kindergarten through sixth grade
Our junior high and high school youth meet together on Monday nights from 7:00 to 8:30 to grow in faith, enjoy friendships, serve the community and have fun. Discipleship is the focus as we desire to see our young people grow in intimacy and passion for Christ.
Special events and missions trips are being planned for 2009.
Toccoa has a large population of college students because of Toccoa Falls College, a Christian Missionary Alliance bible school. GCF is please to have quite a few of those students choose to be part of our fellowship during their time in Toccoa. They, along with other college-age singles, meet together on Wednesday nights at 8:00 pm.
Home groups are an important part of our fellowship together at GCF. In this smaller more intimate setting, we are able to develop a true sense of family, accountability and belonging in a busy and transient world. Home groups don’t only function as social gatherings but also as a place to grow in faith and exercise the gifts that God has put in each of us as we minister to and serve one another. These groups meet at various times during the week.
GCF sets aside three days beginning on the first Monday of every month to seek the Lord with prayer and fasting. We have a room dedicated to this purpose and strive to have it manned twenty-four hours a day for these three days. The fast is concluded on Wednesday evening with a corporate prayer and praise meeting.
On the fourth Wednesday of every month, we invite the needy in our community to come share dinner with us in our fellowship hall. Provided at no charge to guests, this is an excellent opportunity for us to not only minister to the needs of the community but develop relationships and share our faith with those to whom God has called us.
